How these tools stay honest
Named public services only
Every tool uses keyless public APIs and services that are named on the page and in the Privacy Policy: ipify, ipwho.is, Google Public DNS (dns.google), microLink, hackertarget, crt.sh, public CORS relays and Cloudflare's speed-test network. There are no hidden endpoints and no private keys in the code.
Limitations are disclosed
When a browser or API cannot measure something (for example the live TLS version or Core Web Vitals of another site), the tool reports “Not available in this test” instead of guessing. See the Disclaimer for the full statement.
