  • Ephemeral Web Server Logs: Like virtually all web servers, our hosting provider's web server (e.g., Apache or Nginx) automatically logs standard connection metadata when web pages or assets are retrieved. These logs record: the client IP address, date and timestamp, requested URL, HTTP status code, referring URL, and User-Agent string. These logs are maintained solely for security monitoring, preventing distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, and diagnosing server errors. Server access logs are automatically rotated and purged within 30 days.

3. Third-Party Geolocation APIs & External Services

To provide real-time network information, our website connects to third-party diagnostic services via encrypted HTTPS. These providers receive your IP address directly from your browser in order to fulfill the lookup request:
